1. Who we are

CommercialBays.com is operated by Coework LLC. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact: support@coework.com.

2. What we collect

Account data: email address and authentication records when you create an account (email verification required).

Listing data: property details and photos you submit, plus moderation status and view counts.

Inquiry data: when you contact a landlord we collect the name, email, phone number, and message you provide, and share them with the listing owner.

Development Planner submissions: if you send your plan to contractors from the Development Planner, we collect your name, email, phone number, company, project location, timeline, site status, notes, the plan you built (size, specifications, and budget), and a record of your consent — the disclosure you agreed to, when, and the IP address and browser used.

Billing data: paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers; we store your subscription tier and Stripe customer references.

Usage data: standard web logs, approximate location from IP for abuse prevention, aggregate page views (Google Analytics), and listing view counts.

3. How we use it

To operate the marketplace: publish listings, deliver inquiries to landlords, send transactional email (verification, listing status, inquiry notifications), process subscriptions, show landlords how their listings perform, and prevent abuse.

To connect Development Planner users with contractors, as described in “Sale and sharing of Development Planner submissions” below. Apart from those submissions, we do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers that run the platform: Google (Firebase hosting, authentication, database, storage, Maps, Analytics), Stripe (payments), and email delivery via our Gmail workspace. Each processes data under its own terms. We also share inquiry details with the specific landlord you contact, share Development Planner submissions with contractors as described below, and disclose information if required by law.

5. Sale and sharing of Development Planner submissions

When you submit the Development Planner's contractor-quote form and tick its consent box, we share — and may sell, meaning we may be paid for it — your submission with contractors, builders, and related service providers. That includes identifiers (name, email, phone number), professional information (company), and commercial information (project location, timeline, site status, plan details, and notes). Recipients may contact you by email, phone call, or text message, and handle your information under their own privacy policies.

We do this only with the consent you give at the point of collection. We do not sell personal information collected anywhere else on the site, and we do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16.

Opting out: you can withdraw your consent and opt out of any future sale or sharing at any time by emailing support@coework.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” We will stop within 15 business days. We cannot recall information already shared, but on request we will tell you which contractors received your submission so you can ask them to stop contacting you.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, sell, or share and with whom; to delete or correct it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Email support@coework.com to make a request; we verify requests and respond as described under “Retention and your rights.”

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie (“__session”) to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies to measure aggregate site usage. Browser settings can block cookies; the site's signed-in features require the session cookie.

7. Retention and your rights

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes, and Development Planner submissions until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer useful for connecting you with contractors. Email support@coework.com to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information; we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to server-side credentials. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to support@coework.com.

9. Children

The service is for business users 18 and older and is not directed to children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
